Our Proving Grounds (4) Pisa

I went to the Pisa v Brescia game at the end of the 2008/09 season (30.05.09) at the Stadio Romeo Anconetani. Brescia won 1-0 with a goal 3 minutes into injury time from Fabrizio Zambrella which relegated Pisa to the 3rd tier of Italian football. Following the game, hundreds of Ultras stormed the changing rooms, venting their frustration on players and management alike. The stadium is no more than 500 metres from the famous leaning tower.
